Prosenjit’s wife goes topless

Bengali star Prosenjit's wife, Arpita Chatterjee, who is making her Bollywood debut with Onir's next, will go topless in a pivotal scene in the film, reports Times of India.

 

Though reports had claimed that her husband was 'scandalised' by her role, she says that she did it without any inhibitions or baggage.

 

She reasons, "It could have been a big deal but the fact that he is in the same profession makes it easy for him to understand the demands of a script. We don't interfere with each other's work. Just because it is a backless picture or a scene that will have me topless, doesn't mean it will be sleazy. In Bollywood, people are quick to stereotype. But when your intent is to make a passionate love story and not to titillate, the scene is bound to be aesthetic."
