How was your experience of working in ‘Cox's Bazarer Kakatua’? 

 

At the beginning I would like to say that a film is being made on Faridur Reza Sagar’s 'Chhoto Kaku’ series of novel. Afzal Hossain is directing it. What will it be when a film is made based on a story of drama, ‘Cox's Bazarer Kakatua’ is a test of it. For this, it was a different experience of working a film which story had been taken from drama.  

 

The story which the viewers watched in drama, will they accept it in film. What do you think?

 

There are a huge difference between drama and film. Film has been made from the story of drama in many countries and those had got popularity too. I am hopeful that a result like this will be gotten in case of ‘Chhoto Kaku’. 

  

 

I am hopeful with ‘Chhoto Kaku’ as Afzal Hossain is making the film and it is actually a matter of joy to work under his direction. To strengthen the storyline taking from the drama, Afzal Hossain has created my character for the film. 

 

You are very choosy about acting, are not it?

 

Yeah, I am a little bit choosy. The identity as an actress is more to me than a beautiful heroine. For this, I want to do qualitative work than quantity which will keep me alive among the viewers for a long period of time.
