Actress Bobby injured in explosion during shooting

Three people, including an actress, were injured in a crude bomb explosion while shooting at Mollarpur in Beanibazar upazila here on Saturday night, reports UNB.

Film director Iftekhar Chowdhury said the incident took place around 11:30 pm when a crude bomb exploded while filming an action scene for a movie titled ‘Bizli’, leaving them injured.

The injured people -- actress Bobby, actor Ranbir West Bengal and Shimanta -- were taken to a private clinic. But, Bobby was later taken to Dhaka for better treatment as she suffered burn injuries in her left hand and knee.

Actress Bobby and actor Ranbir have been cast for the lead role of the movie, the director said.
