Kohli dodges media to avoid questions about Anushka

Ever since they decided to put their brief tiff behind them and give love another chance, Anushka Sharma and her cricketer-beau Virat Kohli are back on the rumour mills' radar. However, the couple is maintaining a low profile this time round and refraining from talking about their relationship, unlike earlier.

Virat hosted a charity dinner on Friday to raise funds for the empowerment of underprivileged children, but fought shy of the media. "Journalists and camera crews arrived at the event by 8 pm and was there till 2 am. However, Virat did not show up at all. He steered clear of the media apparently to avoid questions on Anushka and the current status of their relationship," says a source.

Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna curated a five course dinner for the high-profile guests at the event which preceded a charity football match between cricketers and film celebs on Saturday evening, reports mid-day.

Adds the source, "After Virat and Anushka patched up in April, they are taking care not to go overboard with public display of affection. That is why he chose not to interact with the mediapersons, who waited for hours to talk to him. Also, he did not want the attention to be diverted from the noble cause that he has taken up."
