Shakib-starred ‘Samraat’ to be released on Eid

A romantic action film ‘Samraat’ (The King is Here), directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, got the green signal from the Censor Board without on Thursday, reports the UNB.
Produced by Tiger Media in association with Orkee Productions and Cinemawala, the film will be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
This is the first film this year where Shakib and Apu Biswas starred in the lead roles.
Dallywood king Shakib Khan played the protagonist’s role.
Another actor Indraneil Sengupta who got Filmfare Award for ‘Best Supporting Actor (Bengali)’ for ‘Mishawr Rawhoshyo’ in 2014, will also play the role of a pivotal character in the film..
The film also features Misha Shawdagar, Kabila, DJ Sohel, Subrata, Shimul Khan in different support roles in the movie.
Besides directing the film, Mostafa Kamal Raz also worked on developing the story, dialogue and screenplay.
