Shafin Ahmed to be laid to rest atop his father's grave

Popular band artist Shafin Ahmed breathed his last in a hospital in Virginia, United States, at 6:50am on Thursday (Bangladesh time). His body will be brought back home and laid to rest atop his father's grave. 

Shafin Ahmed was singing at a live concert in Virginia on Sunday when he became ill on the stage. It is assumed that the pacemaker in his heart stopped working, his brother Hamim Ahmed told the Daily Samakal. 

Hamim Ahmed went to the US to bring back his brother's body. 

Shafin Ahmed is survived by his wife and three children. His father Kamal Dashgupta's grave is at the capital's Banani Graveyard. His mother Firoza Begum's grave is next to it.
