Nusrat Faria at DB office, to be produced before court on Monday

Bangladeshi noted film actress Nusrat Faria has been arrested in a case of attempted murder during the anti-discrimination movement after her detention. 

She was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Sunday morning while going to Thailand. 

Later, she was shown arrested and taken to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) office on Minto Road. 

She will be produced in court on Monday, according to DB sources.

Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, told The Daily Samakal on Sunday afternoon that there is an attempt murder case against the actress with Bhatara Police Station in the capital. 

“For this reason, she was arrested while going abroad. She is being interrogated by DB. She will be produced in court on Monday,” he added.
