Nusrat Faria released on bail

Actress Nusrat Faria has been released from Kashimpur Central Women's Jail in Gazipur at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday. 

Senior Jail Superintendent Kawalin Nahar at Kashimpur Women's Central Jail told reporters that Nusrat Faria's bail papers reached the jail at around 12:30 pm.

Earlier in the day, Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court granted bail to actress Nusrat Faria, who was arrested in an attempt to murder case. 

On Sunday morning, police detained Nusrat at the immigration check post of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while she was going to Thailand. 

Later, she was shown arrested and brought to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) office for questioning. 

According to the case documents, Enamul Haque (35) was shot dead in the Bhatara area of the capital on July 19 during the mass uprising of students. 

On May 3, he filed a complaint case against 283 people with the CMM Court in Dhaka. Of them, 17 actors and actresses, including Nusrat Faria, were made accused.

The case was recorded as a complaint on May 3 following the court's order. Nusrat was arrested two weeks after the case was filed.
