Model-actress Ridhika Ridhi’s body recovered in city

Police have recovered the body of model and actress Ridhika Ridhi from the capital’s Bashundhara residential area. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan around 6am on Saturday. Later she was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Bhatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazharul Islam confirmed the incident to Daily Samakal.

Mazharul Islam said, “We went to Kurmitola Hospital and found the body. It is initially believed that she committed suicide.”

In addition to modelling, Ridhi has acted in several dramas. Among them, ‘Ekhane Manush Bikri Hoy’, ‘Bahurupi’, ‘Double Honeymoon’, and ‘Sundari’ are notable.
