'Haldaa' to hit cinemas in December

Popular actor-director Tauquir Ahmed’s latest directorial venture 'Haldaa' is scheduled to hit the cinemas in December. 

The film is going to hit the local cinemas on December 1 while it will be released in 16 other countries on December 16. 

Tauquir Ahmed declared on his facebook page on Thursday that the film will be released in December. Now, the release date won't be changed as the film got censor certificate on November 6 without any cut. 

The film ‘Haldaa’ revolves around the fishermen of the Halda River. The film also addresses the risks the river is facing due to manmade aggressions.  

The film casts Zahid Hasan, Mosharraf Karim, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Fazlul Rahman Babu, Shahed Ali, Dilara Jaman and others. 

Azad Bulbul has written the story of the film 'Haldaa', which will be the fifth film directed by Tauquir Ahmed.
