Last tributes paid to Ayub Bachchu

People from all walks of life paid their last tributes to legendary singer, guitarist, songwriter and composer Ayub Bacchu at the Central Shaheed Minar in the city on Friday.  

The body of the popular singer was taken to the Shaheed Minar around 10:25am and it was kept there until 12:30pm.           

Later, the body of Ayub Bacchu was taken to the National Eidgah where his first namaz-e-janaza was held after Jummah prayers. His second janaza will be held at private television channel Channel i office.            

The family members of the rock singer will take the body to his ancestral residence in Chattagram on Friday night. Later, Ayub Bachchu will be laid to rest beside the grave of his mother on Saturday after another namaz-e-janaza there.
