Baishakhi Fashion Show held in city

A fashion show of local handloom products, titled 'Baishakhi Fashion Show 1423' was held on Saturday in Chitrashala Plaza of Bangladesh Shipakala Academy.
Fashion Entrepreneurs Association of Bangladesh (FEAB) organized the event with the support of Pran Layer, reports the UNB.
Cultural Affairs Minister Assaduzzaman Noor inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said said celebration of Bnagla New Year is now the biggest secular festival in the country with the participation of people from all religions.
Practice of culture should be enhanced to rule out the militancy and stand against any killing of people on religion ground, he added.
Educationist Borhan Uddin Khan presented a short speech on the development of local fashion industry.
President of FEAB Majharul Haque Mazhar presided over the program.
