BNP leaders, activists gather in Rangpur

The BNP's divisional mass rally on Saturday has converted Rangpur into a city of processions and banners.

At the rally venue, processions of leaders and activists are assembling from various parts of the eight districts that make up the division.

BNP leaders, activists, and supporters have been observed leading processions through the city's gateways, including the Mahiganj Satmatha, Medical Intersection, and Terminal Road districts, since this morning.

The number of processions on the major roadways is growing throughout the day, and the volume of the slogans is also increasing.

In support of their demands, which include, among others, the release of party chairperson Khaleda Zia and elections under a non-party neutral administration, BNP leaders and activists were spotted chanting slogans.

Basically, starting on Friday afternoon, party members from several districts gathered at the location, Rangpur Collector's Ground, and demanded Khaleda Zia's immediate and unconditional release.

While visiting the Mahikganj-Satmatha intersection, BNP leaders and activists were seen entering Rangpur city this morning with hundreds of three-wheelers from Kurigram and Lalmonirhat.

Since the morning, BNP men of the districts of Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, and Dinajpur headed to Rangpur on motorcycles. They were going to the venue in processions through medical intersection
