No elections sans caretaker govt: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said there will be no more elections in the country without a caretaker government as it is a peoples' demand.

He claimed that Awami League government has no relationship with the people as they have become isolated from the people.

"Today they are harassing even the Islamic scholars of the country. Accusing them in false cases and sending them to jail. They are not even bailed," said Fakhrul at the divisional mass meeting of BNP at Komarpur Abdul Aziz Institution ground in Faridpur on Saturday afternoon.

"Anything other than a caretaker government will not be accepted by the people," the BNP chief continued.
