Suhrawardy Udyan unsafe: Annie

BNP Central Executive Committee Publicity Secretary and Media Cell Member Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie said that Suhrawardy Udyan is unsafe for party rally. 

“We will not do any program at Suhrawardy Udyan. That is our political position,” he said this in response to questions from reporters about the venue of the Dhaka Divisional rally of BNP to be held on Tuesday.

He said, “We did not seek permission for the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan. We want to hold a peaceful rally in front of Naya Paltan party office.”

He added that in the past many political programs of BNP were held peacefully in front of the BNP office at Naya Paltan.
