BCL committee to be announced before December 24: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that the Central, Dhaka University and Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Committees of Bangladesh Chhatra League will be announced before December 24.

He gave this information in the concluding speech of the first session of the 30th conference of the Chhatra League at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

Obaidul Quader said that the names of the candidates of the Central Committee will be proposed and supported in the second session to be held in the Institute of Engineers.

Similarly, the names of the candidates from Dhaka University and Metropolitan North and South will also be proposed and supported by the BCL men.

He also said, “The Chhatra League candidates will submit the CV to our leader Sheikh Hasina. We hope our leader will verify the CVs before the National Council of Awami League to be held on December 24. Then Bangladesh Chhatra League's new committee will be formed following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's directives.”
