BNP leaders, activists sit-in at Nayapaltan

BNP leaders and activists have arranged a sit-in programme in front of the party's Nayapaltan headquarters on Wednesday.

The programme began at 10:00 am.

In order to stage the sit-in, party members were observed covering a portion of the road with plastic sheets.

On the street were festoons and banners hanging, and the BNP members were chanting anti-government chants.

The BNP has been protesting to hammer home its 10-point demand, which includes that the government quit and that the national election be held under the supervision of an impartial interim administration.
