BNP to face defeat in the next election: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that BNP will face defeat in the next election.

He said while addressing as chief guest at the winter clothes distribution and rally organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League in front of Uttara Azampur Amir Complex on Saturday afternoon.

Obaidul Quader said, “BNP has been making one-sided lies; Awami League will not sit quietly rather the party will reply duly.”

The AL leader also said, “Awami League is not doing counter-programme, BNP is doing March procession, we are distributing winter clothes.”

Awami League presidium member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, organizing secretary Mirza Azam, Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League general secretary SM Mannan Kochi spoke on the occasion, among others.

The Dhaka north city BNP is marching from Shahjadpur to Abul Hotel in Malibagh on Saturday to press home its 10-point demand, including holding the national election under a non-partisan government.

The party will march from Gabtoli to Mirpur-10 intersection on January 31.

On January 30, the Dhaka south city unit BNP will march from Jatrabari to Shyampur and from Mugda to Malibagh on February 1.
