AL's post-budget press conference to be held Saturday

Awami League's (AL) press conference on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2023-2024 (FY24) will be held Saturday.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader is scheduled to address the press conference on the proposed budget at the central office of the Awami League at Bangabandhu Avenue at 11 am, reads a press release signed by AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Thursday placed the national budget in the parliament, eyeing a 7.5 per cent GDP growth rate with an expectation of keeping annual inflation at around 6.0 per cent.
