Mirza Fakhrul meets US ambassador

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir held a meeting with the US ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas on Tuesday.

The BNP leader went to US embassy at 1:10 pm and held the meeting for over an hour, said sources.

It is unknown what the issues were discussed in the meeting.

However, the meeting is very important ahead of the upcoming general election.
