'Youth rally' kicks off at Suhrawardy Udyan

Three BNP associate bodies – Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and Swechchasebak Dal – have kicked off a ‘youth rally’ at Suhrawardy Uddyan in the capital.  The rally was inaugurated with a Quran recitation at 2pm on Saturday.

BNP supporters started gathering at Suhrawardy Uddyan for the rally since the morning.

Jubo Dal President Salahuddin Tuku will chair the meeting, while BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address the programme as the chief guest and give the youth various directions to intensify the ongoing one-point movement.

At a press conference on Friday, Tuku said the youth who are deprived of their rights would participate in the youth rally and hoped that Dhaka would become a city of youth on Saturday.
