Jubo League’s rally on Thursday to counter BNP's mega rally

In reaction to the BNP's sizable gathering in the capital on Thursday, the Jubo League, the ruling Awami League's youth wing, would organize a rally on that same day.

The rally, which the youth front termed "March of Jubilant Youth", will be held at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram.

According to Jubo League, the demonstration is intended to condemn the BNP-Jamaat's "murder, conspiracy, anarchy, and violence" across the country.

With the slogan "We Young Generation Will Vote, Let's Fight for Votes," BNP's three youth-student organizations, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhashebak Dal, recently conducted youth protests in six major cities, including the capital Dhaka.

Mainul Hossain Khan, the JL general secretary, announced during a rally on Saturday that the Jubo League would hold a rally on Monday.

The Jubo League central office told the media on Sunday that the event will take place on Thursday.

JL sources claims that they want to gather more than 100,000 activists.

Apart from Dhaka city (North and South), leaders and activists from Gazipur, Narayanganj, Tangail, Manikganj, Munshiganj, and Mymensingh, would take part in the march, he expected.
