BNP wants to hold grand rally on July 27

BNP has submitted a letter to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner seeking permission to hold a grand rally in the capital city on July 27.

According to the letter, BNP wants to hold a grand rally at either Nayapaltan or Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital, said party sources.

However, the DMP has not yet specified a place for the BNP to hold its mass meeting.

Earlier on Saturday, Mirza Fakhrul Islam announced the program of the grand gathering in Dhaka on July 27 from the 'Youth Rally' at Suhrawardy Udyan.
