AL, BNP get permission to hold rallies at Nayapaltan, Baitul Mukarram

Three associate bodies of Awami League and BNP have been given conditional permission to hold their rallies in the city on Friday, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruq.

Awami Jubo League, Sechchhasebak League and Chhatra League have received permission to hold their rally at the South gate of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque, while BNP was given permission to hold its rally in front of its Nayapaltan central office, the DMP commissioner said at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

He said three associate bodies of Awami League and BNP were sent separate letters, giving them 23 conditions for holding the rallies.
