AL peace rally underway in capital

A peace rally of three associate bodies of the Awami League – Awami Jubo League, Sechchhasebak League and Chhatra League - has begun in the capital.

The rally kicked off with a cultural presentation at 2pm on Friday. It is being held at the South gate of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will grace the rally as the chief guest.

Ahead of the rally, leaders and activists of the three bodies arrived at the venue with processions. The crowd became bigger after the Jummah prayers.
