3 BNP associate bodies to stage countrywide protests today

Three BNP associate bodies of the BNP will stage a countrywide protest on Thursday to protest against a lower court verdict handed to BNP acting head Tarique Rahman and his wife involving a graft case.

Jubo Dal president Sultan Salahuddin Tuku announced the programme, which would also include Swechasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal, on Wednesday.

Swechasebak Dal president S M Jilani, Jubo Dal joint secretary Shafiqul Islam Milton, Swechasebak Dal general secretary Rajib Ahsan, Chhatra Dal president Rawnakul Islam and general secretary Saif Mahmud Jewel were also present during the announcement.
