BNP holds mass processions

The BNP has stated its mass processions on Friday afternoon at two places in the capital city to press home their one-point movement.

The BNP's north and south units coordinated the processions, which got going at 3:00 pm.

The BNP's north unit march, which started at Suvastu Tower in Badda and will end at the Abul Hotel in Rampura, was led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas is leading the south unit march, which started at Kamalapur Stadium and will end at Malibagh Railway Gate.

The BNP announced the programmes in order to realise its demands – the resignation of Awami League and holding the upcoming parliamentary election under a neutral caretaker government.
