BNP holds rally at Nayapaltan to realise one-point demand

Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations are gathering in Nayapaltan to take part in a protest rally to realise its one-point demand - the resignation of the government.

The rally will be held on the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan of the capital at 3 pm on Friday.

A temporary stage has already been constructed on four trucks in front of the office for the rally.

The leaders and activists of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP and its affiliates are gathering in Nayapaltan with banners and festoons in processions to participate in the rally.

At this time, they raised various anti-government slogans.

Meanwhile, members of the law-and-order forces have formed a tight security zone around the BNP rally in Nayapaltan and its surrounding areas. Besides, members of various organizations have been deployed in white clothes.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address the rally as the chief guest. Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Abdus Salam will chair the rally and North member secretary Aminul Haque will moderate it.
