Reshuffle in BNP

BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) has brought some changes to the committees’ associate bodies, according to a circular signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP on Saturday.

According to the circular, BNP National Executive Committee International Affairs Secretary Mahidur Rahman, BNP National Executive Committee member and Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Ariful Haque Chowdhury and BNP National Executive Committee member MA Malik have been made members of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council.

Sweden BNP's former general secretary Nazmul Abedin Mohan has been promoted to the post of co-secretary of international affairs, BNP national executive committee member Sayeed Sohrab has been promoted to the post of co-secretary of cultural affairs and former Narayanganj district BNP vice-president Mahmudur Rahman Sumon has been promoted to the post of co-secretary of economic affairs.

United Kingdom BNP General Secretary Kaishar M Ahmed and United States BNP former president Abdul Latif Samrat have been promoted as members of the National Executive Committee of BNP.

In addition, BNP chairperson's advisory council member professor Dr. Farhad Halim Donor has been appointed as acting convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP and Liton Mahmud, joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP as acting member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP.
