Mobin, Taimur elected chairman, secy gen of Trinamool BNP

Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury has been elected chairman of Trinamool BNP while Taimur Alam Khandkar has been elected as its secretary general.

The announcement came from the party's national conference and council at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) on Tuesday.

The party founder late Nazmul Huda's daughter Antara Selima Huda was elected executive chairperson as a 27-member partial committee.

At the conference, Shamsher Mobin termed Trinamool BNP is an independent political party.

Regarding the Trinamool BNP, Taimur stated that this party won't be a private limited as none will be neglected here.

Upon discussion in the party, decision over the next general election will be taken, said Taimur.

In 2015, Barrister Nazmul Huda formed Trinamool BNP and it got registration from the Election Commission in February this year.
