Policeman killed in clash with BNP

A policeman was killed while on duty during the clash with BNP in the capital city on Saturday.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police out-post in-charge (inspector) Bachchu Mia confirmed the death to The Daily Samakal.

The identity of the victim policeman is not known, he said.

Bachchu Mia also said the policeman was brought to the emergency department of the DMCH with serious injuries after suffering a head injury around 4 pm on Saturday. Later the doctor declared him dead, he added.
