Now Abbas, Alal arrested

BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas and its Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal have been arrested on Tuesday night.

DB chief Harun Or Rashid told The Daily Samakal at 8:45pm that a team of Detective Branch of Police arrested Mirza Abbas and Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal from different city areas in a case filed over the death of a police constable with Paltan Police Station on October 28.

Earlier on Sunday, DB picked up BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir from his Gulshan residence in Dhaka. He was later shown arrested in a case over the death of a policeman. He was later sent to jail through court.
