Shakib gets AL nomination for Magura, Mashrafe for Narail

The Awami League (AL) has nominated cricketer Shakib Al Hasan for the Magura-1 constituency and former cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza for the Narail-2 constituency for the upcoming 12th parliamentary election.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the list of AL-led candidates of 300 seats for the 12th parliamentary elections on Sunday afternoon.

Shakib will contest the parliamentary elections for the first time.
