BNM fields candidates for 82 seats

Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM) has announced party candidates for 82 out of 300 parliamentary seats for the upcoming 12th national elections.

The names of the candidates were revealed in a notice signed by the party's acting president Shah Md Abu Jafar and Secretary General Md Shahjahan on Thursday.

Earlier, the BNM had announced that they would field candidates in 300 seats but has ultimately fielded 82.

Regarding the matter, the party said in the notice, "If you look at the list of our nominated candidates, you will understand that we believe in quality and not quantity. Which is why we have nominated 82 aspirants out of 478 from various seats in the country."
