Shakib's yearly income Tk5.5cr, bank loan Tk31.98cr

Awami League's candidate for the Magura-1 constituency Shakib Al Hasan's affidavit submitted to the Election Commission (EC) revealed that his yearly income is Tk 5,55,71,262. Meanwhile, his bank loans amount to Tk 31,98,61,382.

Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Magura Abu Naser Beg confirmed the matter.

In the affidavit, Shakib has listed his occupation as a cricketer, and his educational qualification as a BBA graduate.

Shakib declared his annual income from cricket as Tk 5,32,74,769, and bank deposit of Tk 11,56,91,876. His investment in the stock market is Tk 43,63,96,874. He also declared possessing 25 bhori gold, as well as Tk 13 lakh worth of furniture and appliances.
