Dec 10 rally not at Baitul Mukarram's south gate: Quader

The Awami League's Human Rights Day rally slated for December 10 will not be held at the south entrance of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Obaidul Quader, the General Secretary of AL and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, said on Tuesday.

As the Election Commission did not accept the application for holding the rally outside, it will be carried out inside the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Quader said after paying tributes to Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy on his 60th death anniversary by placing wreaths on his grave adjacent to the High Court on Tuesday morning.
