Negotiation with 14-party in a couple of days: Quader

The Awami League will sit down to negotiate sharing seats for the upcoming 12th national elections with the 14-party alliance within a day or two, Obaidul Quader, the General Secretary of AL and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said on Tuesday.

He made the remarks at a press conference held at the party president’s office in Dhanmondi.

"It is normal for 14-party to have demands. But AL will value popular ones. We will give more importance to candidates who may win the elections," Quader said.

Regarding the PM's meeting with 14-party on Monday night, he said, "The main discussion was about political matters."
