Proposal to transfer 110 UNOs approved

The Public Administration Ministry sent a proposal to the Election Commission (EC) for the transfer of 110 upazila nirbahi officers (UNOs), which the EC approved on Thursday.

Earlier, the EC also approved the transfer of officers-in-charge (OCs) of 338 police stations for holding the next general election in a free, fair and acceptable manner.

The voting of the 12th parliamentary elections will be held on January 7.
