EC appeal hearing: 35 aspirants get back candidacy

The Election Commission (EC) has started hearing appeals against the rejection of nomination forms by respective returning officers (ROs) for the next national polls slated for January 7. So far, 35 aspirants have their candidacy back.

The appeal hearings started at the EC in Dhaka's Agargaon at around 10am on Sunday.

Till now, information on 57 aspirants has been found. Among them, 18 lost their candidacy, and the decision will be taken later about four others.
