Raushan asks PM to not form alliance with JaPa

Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chief Patron and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Raushan Ershad has asked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to not form an alliance with JaPa or make any negotiation with them.

Raushan made the request on Tuesday when she paid a call on the PM at her official residence Ganabhaban.

Her spokesman Kazi Mamunur Rashid confirmed the matter after the meeting at a press briefing at around 2:30pm.

It may be noted that Raushan and her follower leaders of JaPa have decided to not participate in the 12th national elections due to the party's internal conflicts.
