Sheikh Hasina joins rally in Tungipara

Awami League (AL) President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arrived at a rally at Tungipara.

She joined the rally at around 11:15am on Saturday, along with her sister Sheikh Rehana.

Ahead of her appearance, the rally grounds became an ocean of AL supporters. A festive mood with enthusiastic people has engulfed Tungipara. Leaders and activists of the party started to arrive at the venue early and filled up the grounds by 9:15am.

Sheikh Hasina arrived in Tungipara by road on Friday night after her rally in Barishal. On Saturday, she will first join the rally in Tungipara, and will later attend another rally in Kotalipara.
