A.K. Azad interested in forming independent front in parliament

Newly elected Member of Parliament of Faridpur-3 constituency A. K. Azad expressed his interest in forming an independent front in the national parliament.

A.K. Azad said, “This is the first-time independent candidates have won 62 seats. Jatiya Party won only 11 seats. We are all devotees of Awami League. Awami League has given chance to contest in the national elections independently. We have chosen different symbols. We think, if these 62 of us are given a chance to make a front, then we will all call the Speaker of the Parliament together. We will criticize the government constructively.”

He made the statements after paying respects at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj on Monday afternoon.

A.K. Azad also said, “Industrial zone will be developed in Faridpur to reduce unemployment. It will provide employment to the youth. Unemployment problem will decrease.”

A good number of supporters and activists accompanied him.
