BNP announces fresh 2-day programme

The BNP has announced a two-day black flag procession programme across the country with various demands, including the release of prisoners of state.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at a press conference held at the party's Nayapaltan office on Sunday morning.

"We are announcing a two-day black flag procession programme to protest the unchecked price hike of essential commodities, demanding the release of prisoners of the state including BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, withdrawing all false cases, and cancelling the illegal parliament," he said.

The programme will be observed at district level on January 26 (Friday) and city level on January 27 (Saturday), Rizvi added.
