BNP declares 'black flag' processions on Jan 30

The BNP will hold "black flag" processions across the country on January 30, demanding the dissolution of the "dummy parliament" and new elections run by a non-partisan caretaker government.

"On January 30, you have to hold a street demonstration. Black flag processions are scheduled to be held around the country organised by BNP, according to a statement made by Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a standing committee member of the BNP.

He was addressing a rally on Saturday in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan.

He declared that processions will be held at all metropolitans, thanas, districts, upazilas, and municipalities.
