BNP harmed country through hostile relationship with India: Quader

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said BNP caused harm to the country by maintaining a hostile relationship with neighbouring India.

“The country had suffered as BNP maintained a hostile relationship with India. We want to see a balanced diplomacy to continue always. Bangladesh will proceed with balanced diplomacy. The present government doesn’t maintain relations (with any country) by selling the national interest,” he said.

The minister made the remarks at a joint meeting of AL at the party’s central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka on Thursday.
