JaPa observes Ershad's 5th death anniversary today

The 5th death anniversary of former president and founder chairman of Jatiya Party (JaPa) Hussain Muhammad Ershad is being observed on Sunday (14 July).

JaPa and its associate organizations have taken elaborate programmes to observe the death anniversary in a befitting manner. 

As part of the programmes, JaPa and its associate bodies placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Hussain Muhammad Ershad at the party's Kakrainl central office at 9am. 

A doa mahfil and memorial meeting will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) at 3pm, said a party press release issued Saturday. 

JaPa chairman and leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader will chair the meeting while JaPa secretary general Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu and other central leaders will take part in the discussion. 

All divisional, district, city, upazila, thana and union units of JaPa will separately organize discussion meetings, milad and doa mahfils in observance of the death anniversary of the party's former chairman.
