14-party alliance agrees to ban Jamaat-Shibir

The leaders of 14-party alliance have decided to ban Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Chhatra Shibir in the country.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader made the disclosure at 8:30 pm on Monday after the meeting of 14-party alliance led by ruling Awami League.

The meeting began at Ganabhaban around 5:30 pm with Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
