Major Hafiz, Dr Zahid made BNP standing committee members

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Vice Chairmen Major (Retd) Hafizuddin Ahmed and Prof. Dr A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain have been made as the party's Standing Committee members.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced their names through a press conference at the party's central office in city's Nayapaltan area on Friday.

Rizvi said acting chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman made Major (Retd) Hafizuddin Ahmed and Dr. A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain as party's Standing Committee members in line with the party's constitution.
