Gono Odhikar Parishad receives registration from EC

Gono Odhikar Parishad, led by former Ducsu vice president Nurul Haque Nur, received registration as a political party from the Election Commission (EC) on Monday (2 September) under the electoral symbol "truck."

According to a gazette notification signed by EC Secretary Shafiul Azim, the EC has granted registration to Gono Odhikar Parishad as a political party under the provisions of the Representation of the People Order, 1972.
