Khaleda Zia hospitalised early on Thursday

BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia was taken to a hospital at midnight for routine health check-up.

Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell, said she was brought to the Evercare hospital in the capital at around 1am on Thursday.

He also said that Khaleda Zia's personal physician and BNP standing committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed the matter.
